It’s on TV ALL THE TIME, but we would still never miss it. Renée Zellweger plays the quintessential singleton Bridget Jones, while Colin Firth is positively dreamy as her Mr Darcy. A perfect Friday night film.

Eurovision At 60 (BBC4, 9pm)

OK, so Ireland didn’t get through to the final. But despite this, the many, many Eurovision addicts in this country can tune into this documentary to warm up for the main event. Terry Wogan guides us through 60 years of the contest, and all the good, the bad, and the plain mad that came with it. #eurovision2015

Everybody’s talking about: #Rebellion

Love/Hate’s Charlie Murphy, Brian Gleeson and Sarah Greene have been cast in a new RTÉ drama about the events leading up to the 1916 Rising.

Rebellion was written by the man behind last year’s Charlie, which starred Aiden Gillen as the controversial former Taoiseach. The drama will tell “personal stories” intertwined with the political events of 1916. Exciting!
